Curriculum Vitae

I was born on 22.05.1980 in Istanbul. I completed my primary education at 60th Year Anatolian Primary School and my secondary and high school education at İstek Acıbadem High School. Between 1998 and 2003, I completed a five-year undergraduate dental education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry and graduated as a Dentist. Subsequently, I successfully completed my proficiency and doctoral thesis examinations at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, and completed the five-year PhD–Specialty program.

In 2012, I received the title of Assistant Professor, and in 2017, I received the title of Associate Professor. Between 2010 and 2020, I worked at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics. I have approximately 100 studies published in national and international peer-reviewed journals and presented at congresses and symposiums. I supervised doctoral and master’s theses and conducted studies supported by TÜBİTAK project grants.

In 2020, I continued my academic career as a faculty member at Istanbul Kent University Faculty of Dentistry. In 2022, I was awarded the title of Professor and I am currently continuing to provide both theoretical and practical education.

I am a member of the Turkish Dental Association and the Turkish Orthodontic Society. I also serve as an Associate Editor for the Turkish Journal of Orthodontics, an international peer-reviewed journal.

I am a mother of two children. In addition, I continue to provide services in all branches of dentistry at my private clinic.
